Lockhart Update

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you all for continuing to pray! Esther is still improving and was able to get back into language school this past Thursday. We are thankful for the struggles God has allowed us to go through thus far and praise Him for the many lessons He has taught us! It is hard to imagine what the hardships of life would be like without the hand of God bearing us up strengthening us. We truly have a wonderful Savior to proclaim to those here who are burdened with the unbearable weight of sin!

Please pray that God would give us understanding as we study the language each day. Could you also pray that God would give us a good ear to hear the language. It is one thing to understand it on paper, but it is quite another to hear it in conversation. As we are slowly learning to think in Portuguese a quickly spoken sentence often sounds to us like one long word. Often we have to ask the Brazilians to talk VERY SLOWLY as we try to pick apart each word.

Our van there in the USA sold yesterday! Would you pray with us that our mobile home will also sell soon? Another thank you to each for your prayers and support!
