Deputation Update

Dear Friends and Family,

We thank the LORD for His provision this past week!  We are spending most all of May in Pennsylvania.  Many churches do not have a prophet’s chamber for long term stay and can only afford to put you up one or two nights in a motel.  That leaves us with the problem of finding a place to stay on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.  God has provided us a mission house up in the mountains of Duncansville, PA for this week and next!  The Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church has a mission house that they are letting us base out of for a couple weeks.  It has a kitchen so Esther can cook some “real” food, a place upstairs with some quiet so Jeremy can study, and a washer and dryer so we don’t have to go to a laundry mat! 

Also, during the last week of May, we will be staying in another prophet’s chamber provided by the Emmorton Baptist Church of Bel Air, MD.  What a blessing to have a little bit of home away from home! 

This past Wednesday we had a meeting at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle of Salisbury, MD.  These folks were a great blessing to us.  This is also the church that my Uncle Jerry and Aunt Shelly attend.  They have a farm close by in Delmar, MD, and we were able to stay and visit with them a few days. 

On Sunday we went to the Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church in Duncansville, PA.  Pastor has five children, and we were able to spend Saturday afternoon fellowshipping at their house.  This church has recently seen God at work with some folks in the community getting saved – what a joy to see God at work in every local church!

Please continue your faithfulness in prayer as we travel this next week and remember to pray that God would send out more laborers into the harvest field!
