Deputation Update

Dear Friends and Family,

These past few weeks have been ones of rest from our travels and preparation for next year's meetings.  Before we left Columbus, GA for home we received a call from Gateway Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN, letting us know that they had decided to take us on for support.  We thank the Lord for this new increase!  

We arrived home on Christmas Eve and were blessed to spend the holidays with family.  This past Saturday Jeremy stood before his ordination council and answered a few hours worth of doctrinal questions.  What a blessing and encouragement the men on the council were as they shared their words of wisdom and encouragement with Jeremy.  On Sunday evening our church had a special ordination service and ordained Jeremy to the Gospel ministry.  This was a special time in our lives and a reminder of the responsibility we have to be good stewards of the Gospel.  

We are now spending much time calling and trying to set up meetings for this year.  Our plans are to leave out Saturday to head toward Pennsylvania.  January 14th is our first scheduled meeting of the year. We have several more scheduled, but still have many gaps to fill.  Please pray that God would help us to fill our schedule quickly and bring in the remainder of our support!  We appreciate each of you that has had a part in praying and giving!
